Seeking to snap a three-game losing run in all competitions, Man City travel to a Brighton side hoping to reclaim top spot in the Premier League table, at least temporarily.

Brighton Preview: Scoring plenty

It's a tough fixture run at the moment for Brighton, who come off the back of two defeats to Liverpool - firstly in the Carabao Cup and then in the Premier League - and they now have to take on reigning Premier League champions Man City.

Goals certainly haven't been a problem for Fabian Hurzeler's side though, as they have found the net in 12 of their 13 games in all competitions this season.

Man City Preview: Off the boil

Injury-hit Man City have now lost three successive games in all competitions, and defeat here would mark the first time they have suffered four defeats in a row for over 18 years. The loss of midfield lynchpin Rodri cannot be understated and is clearly impacting their ability to control games.

They lost their grip on top spot last week after they slipped up at Bournemouth, and followed that with a 1-4 loss at Sporting CP in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Brighton Team News: Joao Pedro to return?

Both Carlos Baleba and Yasin Ayari are carrying knocks but Hurzeler has stated that they do have a chance of featuring, while Lewis Dunk and Yankubah Minteh remain doubtful.

There is a "big chance" that Matt O'Riley and Joao Pedro make the squad after their respective layoffs, but Solly March is not fit enough to be considered as he continues to work his way back from a long-term injury.

Predicted XI (4-4-2): Verbruggen; Veltman, Van Hecke, Igor Julio, Estupinan; Kadioglu, Baleba, Ayari, Mitoma; Rutter, Welbeck

Unavailable: Webster (Injured), Milner (Injured), March (Fitness)

Questionable: Dunk (Injured), Ayari (Injured), Baleba (Injured), Minteh (Injured), O’Riley (Fitness), Joao Pedro (Fitness)

Man City Team News: Grealish out

According to Pep Guardiola, Jack Grealish is not in a condition to play despite the fact he has been called up to the England squad, while Ruben Dias and John Stones remain out alongside long-term absentees Rodri and Oscar Bobb.

Guardiola may shake things up given recent results, with Rico Lewis an option in defensive midfield to offer Mateo Kovacic some assistance.

Predicted XI (4-1-4-1): Ederson; Walker, Akanji, Ake, Gvardiol; Lewis, Kovacic; Bernardo, Foden, Doku; Haaland

Unavailable: Dias (Injured), Stones (Injured), Rodri (Injured, Grealish (Injured), Bobb (Injured)

Questionable:

Brighton vs Man City Prediction

Things are certainly not right at Man City right now with their aura of invincibility having slipped in recent weeks. They haven't been helped by some injuries to key players in the squad but Pep Guardiola still possesses enough quality in his ranks to win games.

Brighton, though, are not to be taken lightly with the Seagulls proving they can score goals with regularity this season. City have not been defensively solid in the Premier League this season so don't be surprise to see at least three goals in this one.

Brighton vs Man City Tip: Over 2.5 goals
