Having defended their Polish Ekstraklasa title last season, Lech Poznan have been left gutted by their outing in the second qualifying round in the UEFA Champions League last month. They won the first-leg of their tie against Danish champions AGF 4-1 in Denmark before losing 3-0 inside 90 minutes and 4-1 after extra-time at home before being knocked out on penalties in Poznan.
Faroese champions Klaksvikar Itrottarfelag come into this one on the back of defeating Luxembourg minnows but champions Atert-Bissen in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League before they were then edged past 1-0 on aggregate by Lithuanian champions Kauno Zalgiris.
Lech Poznan are firm favourites for this tie and, while shaken by last week, should win both legs of this tie against KI this week.
