Moldovan giants Sheriff Tiraspol and Swiss outfit St Gallen have been knocked into the UEFA Europa Conference League, where they face off in the third qualifying round.

Sheriff vs St Gallen prediction
Having once been the dominant force in Moldovan football, Sheriff Tiraspol have now finished second in each of the last two seasons. They were hammered 6-0 on aggregate by Israeli giants Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
St Gallen also entered into the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League and they managed to defeat Portuguese giants Benfica by two goals to one in the first-leg before then succumbing to a 5-0 loss at Estadio da Luz in the second-leg.
St Gallen are perhaps favourites for the tie but this first-leg being in Transnistria should ensure a tighter and low-scoring encounter on Thursday night.
