CFR Cluj vs Tromso prediction
CFR Cluj come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Rapid Bucharest as they continue to struggle at the start of their Romanian Liga I season. They eased to a 4-1 aggregate victory against Alashkert in the second qualifying round last week.
Up in the Arctic Circle, Tromso would have expected to go deep this season in Europe but they were undone in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League as they were beaten 1-0 by Hradec Kralove at home before a 3-1 defeat in Czechia.
CFR Cluj, with their home advantage, should be viewed as slight favourites but it isn’t expected to be a high quality, nor high-scoring tie.
