Wycombe Wanderers vs Stevenage prediction

We could be in for a physical but exciting affair between Wycombe Wanderers and Stevenage with the pair well matched and having nothing to lose here in the opening round of League Cup action. Wycombe underachieved last season with the players at their disposal, whilst Stevenage made it to the playoffs under Alex Revell, before losing to Stockport across two legs.

Although both teams should feature their strongest starting XI, we should still see an open game with each not being afraid to push multiple bodies forward whenever possible. Defence on each side could still be rusty with neither having been tested in a competitive environment like this yet outside of pre-season. That makes backing both teams to score a smart move.
