Monza vs Atalanta prediction
Monza come into this one on the back of another hard-fought defeat, once again taking the lead before losing 2-1 to Bologna last week. They have the top scorer in the division in Gustavo Varela and have been in pretty much all of their games but still begin the weekend sitting in the bottom three and the relegation places.
Maurizio Sarri is under intense pressure with his Atalanta side having underperformed throughout the campaign. The Bergamasci were hammered 3-0 by Parma in Serie A in their most recent outing before they rescued a 1-1 draw against Kairat at home in the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League in midweek.
Atalanta are in the bottom half of Serie A, winless in six across all competitions and they face a competitive Monza side, who should perhaps be sided with from a value perspective here.
Monza vs Atalanta tip: Double chance – Monza to win or draw
