Oxford City vs Leicester prediction

Oxford City boast a squad with a few former EFL players, including former Sheffield Wednesday striker Fernando Forestieri and former Bristol City man Matty Taylor. The Hoops currently sit second in the National League North and they have reached this stage having overcome Dorchester Town, Enfield and then Torquay United in qualifying.

Leicester City have fallen away from the elite of English football with back-to-back relegations from the Premier League to League One and The Foxes have been inconsistent throughout this season. Pressure remains on Russell Martin after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Stevenage at the King Power Stadium last week.

Leicester, as ever with a Martin side, are soft and too easy to get at – and that may be a perfect recipe for some so-called ‘magic of the cup’ here with the hosts in good form but Leicester do have to remain overwhelming favourites for a comfortable win given the gulf between the two sides, even if Leicester do rotate – but it may not be too much of a shock of Oxford City bloody the noses of their visitors.
