Sevilla vs Alaves prediction

Sevilla begin the match day sitting in the top six and the European spots after a summer expecting to be in a relegation battle once again. The Andalusians come into this one on the back of a frustrating 3-1 defeat to Getafe at the Coliseum last weekend in a game in which they had taken the lead and didn’t concede an equaliser until the 68th minute.

Alaves started the season with ten points collected from four matches but they have since collected just two points from their next seven games, hammered 6-1 by Barcelona at Camp Nou last week. The Basque outfit are struggling at the moment under Quique Sanchez Flores, who happens to be on crutches after recent knee surgery.

Alaves really could do with any sort of response here but it just feels as though their malaise will continue into the November international break with another defeat in Seville.
