Wrexham vs Middlesbrough prediction

Wrexham are the latest team to try to stop Middlesbrough in their tracks. Kim Hellberg’s side sit top of the table heading into this game, and four of their last five have ended in victory. Key to their success has been striker Will Lankshear, who is coming off the back of braces in consecutive league games and seven goals in his last five appearances.

The 21-year-old phenom is also way out on his own as the Championship’s top scorer, having found the net 13 times overall since the start of the campaign. When taking into account Wrexham’s recent struggles for form, and the fact that Phil Parkinson’s men have not kept a clean sheet since early September, it is hard to see Middlesbrough’s star forward failing to find the net, so a smart play is backing Lankshear to get on the scoresheet once again, this time in North Wales.
