Derby County vs Norwich City prediction

Derby County are in deep, deep trouble. A 4-1 defeat away at Millwall, their eighth loss in this season's Championship, leaves them firmly planted inside the bottom three on just seven points. John Eustace remains in post, but with just one point from the last 12 available, one can only wonder how long that will last.

Norwich City travel to the East Midlands on a huge high after back-to-back victories, netting three goals on both occasions. The most recent was easily their most memorable of the season. Trailing by two goals at half-time at home to Watford, the Canaries rallied magnificently in the second half to win 3-2.

All the momentum is in their favour, and when taking into account how potent they have been in front of goal, you would expect them to overpower a Derby defence that has given up 25 Championship goals this season. When also factoring in that only bottom-of-the-table Preston have scored fewer goals than the Rams, it’s hard to see Derby turning things around against a red-hot Norwich City, who are worth backing to come out on top.
