Deportivo La Coruna preview: Steady Depor
Deportivo La Coruna come into this one on the back of a 3-0 hammering of Cented Academy in the first round of the Copa del Rey in midweek, ending what had become a six-match winless run of form for newly-promoted Deportivo La Coruna.
Back in La Liga for the first time in nearly a decade, Depor have been competitive this season but they have been frustrated by results of late – as was the case in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano last weekend.
Osasuna preview: Returning manager
Osasuna have struggled at the start of this season, which led to the sacking of summer appointment Luis Miguel Ramis before bringing back Jago Arrasate as they seek to avoid another relegation battle, as was the case last weekend.
Osasuna began the second Jago Arrasate reign with a 2-0 defeat of Racing Santander but they then succumbed to a 2-0 loss to Sevilla last week, albeit did then hammer Atletico Calatayud in the cup a few days later.

Deportivo La Coruna vs Osasuna prediction
Having appointed Luis Miguel Ramis, formerly of Burgos, over the summer, Osasuna wanted to become extremely defensively solid with his ultra-conservative style but that was undermined by some capitulations. They, though, should now improve at both ends under Jago Arrasate and head to a Depor side that are beginning to have steady performances undermined by a lack of quality when injuries hit, as has been the case. A low-scoring contest seems a good bet for this one in the North West of Spain.
