Wolves vs Cardiff City prediction

Both Wolves and Cardiff City have taken seven points from the last nine available to them in the Championship. After a small blip, Cesar Peixoto’s side have put things back together lately, getting the better of both Burnley and Watford while drawing with Portsmouth. Cardiff City, meanwhile, have pulled away from any relegation trouble, following a 5-1 thrashing of Watford, a hugely respectable 2-2 draw away at Middlesbrough and a narrow 1-0 victory over Birmingham City.

When you factor in the calibre of opponents Cardiff have picked up points from, they have nothing to fear from Wolves, who are in for a very tough test. Although the hosts are a strong side defensively, Cardiff’s recent form in front of goal cannot be ignored, and it would be no surprise to see them on the scoresheet at Molineux. Wolves won’t back down offensively themselves, though, so both teams to score feels like the sensible move to make.
