Shabab Al Ahli most recently comfortably defeated Esteghlal by two goals to nil in this competition last week. That means that Shabab Al Ahli are one of two teams, alongside compatriots Al Ain, to have won three from three in Group B of the league stage of this season’s AFC Champions League.
Al Hilal would have to remain favourites with their home advantage at the Kingdom Arena but it should be a competitive encounter given the strength and form of Shabab Al Ahli.
