How to watch on TV & online: UK – TNT Sports & HBO Max / USA – Paramount+

Feyenoord preview: Fun Feyenoord

Feyenoord come into this one on the back of a few frustrating results with a 1-0 defeat to Real Betis in this competition before back-to-back 1-1 draws in the Eredivisie against PSV Eindhoven and then Fortuna Sittard.

Under the management of Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Feyenoord do remain at the top-of-the-table in the Eredivisie and they have been an entertaining watch across all competitions with their three UEFA Champions League games consisting of 12 goals.

Inter Milan preview: A defeat that was coming

Performances were concerning and a defeat appeared around the corner for Internazionale. That defeat came at the weekend in Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan at San Siro, losing by three goals to one against the Rossoneri in Serie A.

Inter had been unbeaten in Serie A up to that stage but they remained fairly underwhelming throughout the opening couple of months of the campaign, often requiring dramatic turnarounds to keep themselves up at the top-of-the-table.

Feyenoord team news: Defensive injuries

As well as Shaquille van Persie, son of Robin, being unavailable; Feyenoord have a few defensive absentees, too, such as Jeremiah St. Juste, Bart Nieuwkoop and Australia international full-back Jordan Bos.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Ernst; Read, Deijl, Watanabe, Marmol; Zechiel, Vanhoutte, Targhalline; Hadj Moussa, Ferri, Valente

Unavailable: St. Juste (Injured), Nieuwkoop (Injured), Bos (Injured), Beelen (Injured), Nelson (Injured), Van Persie (Injured)

Questionable:

Inter Milan team news: Bastoni suspended

Having been sent off in a narrow victory against Shakhtar Donetsk, Alessandro Bastoni is now missing through suspension. Ivan Provedel had replaced Josep Martinez between the sticks but the former Lazio goalkeeper is now a doubt after missing the derby against Milan due to illness.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): J. Martinez; Bisseck, Akanji, Augusto; Diouf, Barella, Calhanoglu, Zielinski, Dimarco; Thuram, Esposito

Unavailable: Bastoni (Suspended), Stones (Injured), Jones (Injured), Henrique (Injured), L. Martinez (Injured)

Questionable: Provedel (Illness), Pavard (Fitness)

Feyenoord vs Inter Milan prediction

The Nerazzurri’s fairly inconsistent performances in Serie A have also been shown on the continent, too, with the three-time European champions starting their UEFA Champions League league phase campaign with back-to-back defeats to Real Madrid and then Club Brugge. Feyenoord will fancy themselves to again get after the inconsistent visitors and so siding with the Dutch outfit would be the way to go for this one in terms of value.

Feyenoord vs Inter Milan Tip: Double chance – Feyenoord to win or draw
