Galatasaray preview: Big win in France

After beginning their UEFA Champions League campaign with defeats to Sporting CP and Barcelona, Galatasaray managed to entertainingly defeat Lille by four goals to two at Stade Pierre-Mauroy a couple of weeks ago.

Since that victory against Lille, Galatasaray have gone on to beat arch-rivals Fenerbahce before hammering Konyaspor by four goals to nil away from home to leave them again at the top-of-the-table in the Turkish Super Lig.

Stuttgart preview: Stuttering Stuttgart

Coached by the highly-rated Sebastian Hoensss, Stuttgart have been one of the more entertaining and progressive teams to watch in the Bundesliga but they have underwhelmed this season.

However, they did manage to get past Bayer Leverkusen by four goals to two at the BayArena at the weekend in the Bundesliga with a brace from Ermedin Demirovic as well as goals scored by Jamie Leweling and Bilal El Khannouss.

Galatasaray team news: Fully fit

Galatasaray have the rare thing of a seemingly fully fit and available squad for this one as Baris Alper Yilmaz and Rafael Leao have now both worked their way back to full fitness.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Cakir; Sallai, Sanchez, Bardakci, Jakobs; Torreira, Sara; Akgun, Batrakov, Yilmaz; Osimhen

Stuttgart team news: Stiller out

In the middle of the park, Angelo Stiller is a key man for Stuttgart but he is now sidelined for the visitors due to a groin injury with other fresher absentees including Josha Vagnoman and Leo Sauer.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Seimen; Assignon, Hendriks, Chabot, Mittelstadt; Promel, Karazor; Leweling, El Khannouss, Fuhrich; Undav

Unavailable: Zagadou (Injured), Vagnoman (Injured), Stiller (Injured), Sauer (Injured), Diehl (Injured)

Galatasaray vs Stuttgart prediction

In the UEFA Champions League last season, Galatasaray were impressive at home but those strong performances and results were eventually undermined by being far too open and chaotic on the road. That is why they will take immense confidence from their win in Lille as a sign they could be evolving. Stuttgart have started their league phase campaign with comfortable victories against Viking and Slovan Bratislava before being held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by ten-man Atletico Madrid a couple of weeks ago. An entertaining watch appears to be in store here with both sides set to be proactive.

Galatasaray vs Stuttgart Tip: Over 2.5 goals
