Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt continue the league phase of the UEFA Champions League with the visit of Lille to the Arctic Circle on Tuesday.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV & online: UK – TNT Sports & HBO Max / USA – Paramount+

Bodo/Glimt preview: Strong at home

Having reached the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League last season, Bodo/Glimt remain competitive once again this time around with Kjetil Knutsen at the helm, despite starting the competition with a 5-0 loss to Bayern Munich last month.

After their defeat in Bavaria, the Norwegians have beaten Borussia Dortmund and then been unfortunate to be beaten 4-3 by Napoli at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona a couple of weeks ago.

Lille preview: A dip in form

Over the summer, Lille took a gamble on the appointment of Davide Ancelotti but the former Botafogo boss, the son of Carlo, began the campaign well before a drift in terms of both performances and results as the season has gone on.

The French have lost three from three in the UEFA Champions League but they did earn themselves a vital victory in       Derby du Nord against Lens at the weekend, courtesy of a late winner scored by Olivier Giroud.

Bodo/Glimt team news: A few issues

Ole Didrik Blomberg has worked his way back to full fitness but the hosts do have a couple of confirmed absentees such as Hakon Evjen and August Mikkelsen – with the pair not set to be available until mid-November.

Predicted XI (4-4-2): Haikin; Sjovold, Gundersen, Bjortuft, Bjorkan; Auklend, Berg, Fet, Hauge; Blomberg, Helmersen

Unavailable: Lund (Injured), Evjen (Injured), Mikkelsen (Injured)

Questionable:

Lille team news: Mbappe still suspended

Sent off in their league phase opener in mid-September, Ethan Mbappe is serving the last of his three-match suspension with fellow attackers Ayase Ueda and Hamza Igamane remaining sidelined due to injury.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Ozer; Goffi, Ngoy, Alexsandro, Verdonk; Andre, Bentaleb; Bakwa, Mukau, Diaoune; Haraldsson

Unavailable: Santos (Injured), Mbappe (Suspended), Igamane (Injured), Ueda (Injured)

Questionable:

Bodo/Glimt vs Lille prediction

Even in that victory against Lille, where supporters managed to get bragging rights from their defeat of arch-rivals Lens, there remained concerns about the overall performance, which has been a consistent theme more or less since the opening month of the campaign. Bodo remain impressive with their home advantage in Europe and so they would be a good value bet to be sided with for this one at the Aspmyra Stadium.

Bodo/Glimt vs Lille Tip: Double chance – Bodo/Glimt to win or draw
