Juventus preview: Pressure growing
Under the management of former Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti, Juventus missed out on the top four and UEFA Champions League qualification last season and they have now drifted out of the European spots altogether after nine matches of the campaign.
The Old Lady come into this one on the back of another poor performance as they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris in Liguria due to goals scored by Kingsley Ehizibue and Tommaso Baldanzi in midweek.
Napoli preview: Big win in midweek
Massimiliano Allegri, formerly of Juventus, took charge of Napoli in the summer but has come very close to the sack on a couple of occasions this season already but they did earn an impressive victory the other day.
Up against a competitive and entertaining Monza side in midweek, Napoli were in a precarious spot after Monza equalised before half-time but the Partenopei eased themselves to a 4-1 victory in the second half at Stadio Brianteo.

Juventus vs Napoli prediction
Spalletti won Napoli’s third Scudetto a few years ago while Allegri was in charge of a dominant Juventus side in the previous decade but now both coaches are enduring tough times of it at the other club. Juventus have a strong squad and one seemingly well suited to Spalletti’s style but they look bereft of confidence and Napoli have shown improvement in their last three games so siding with the visitors may well be a decent value bet for this one in Piedmont.
Juventus vs Napoli tip: Double chance – Napoli to win or draw
