Como preview: In-form Como
Como come into this one on the back of an impressive 3-1 defeat of in-form Torino at Olimpico di Torino, losing going into the last ten minutes before late strikes from Jacobo, Nico Paz and Martin Baturina.
That victory for Cesc Fabregas’ side backed up a 2-0 defeat of Sassuolo and now means that they have extended their current winning streak to four matches across all competitions.
Venezia preview: Improvement in performances
Following their promotion to Serie A last season, Venezia spent big in the summer transfer window but had to sack Giovanni Stroppa after a six-match losing streak to kick off their campaign.
Serie A’s so-called ‘miracle worker’ Davide Nicola has got the job in Venice and he began well with a shock defeat of Napoli before a hard-fought loss to Genoa and then a 2-0 defeat to Internazionale due to two late own goals in that one.
Como team news: Addai a doubt
Former AZ Alkmaar winger Jayden Addai is a doubt for Como this weekend with fellow attackers Jesus Rodriguez, Assane Diao and Moise Kean all sidelined for the hosts.

Como vs Venezia prediction
Como have now moved themselves back into the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures. Having previously been fairly profligate under Cesc Fabregas, they have now found that scoring touch. Venezia will be awkward opposition as they are improving but it has been a tough fixture list for Nicola and so siding with Como in perhaps a lower scoring contest seems a decent bet for this one.
Como vs Venezia tip: Como to win & under 3.5 goals
