Venezia vs Udinese prediction

Following the appointment of Serie A’s so-called ‘miracle worker’ Davide Nicola a few weeks ago, Venezia immediately improved with a defeat of Napoli. The Venetians have gone on to succumb to unfortunate hard-fought defeats to Genoa, Internazionale and then Como in which they have lost 1-0, 2-0 and then 1-0 again.

Udinese have taken the decision to sack Kosta Runjaic with Paolo Zanetti, not the former Inter captain but instead former Empoli and Hellas Verona boss, replacing him at the Bluenergy Stadium. That is because the Friulians have managed just one win so far this season – which came on the opening day of the campaign.

Udinese will be aiming to get back to basics and, up against the naturally conservative Venetians, a low-scoring encounter feels quite likely for this one.

Venezia vs Udinese tip: Under 2.5 goals
