Brest vs Lyon prediction

Julien Laroucher and his Stade Brest side come into this one on the back of an impressive 2-0 defeat of Lorient last weekend, courtesy of second half goals scored by Ludovic Ajorque and Noah Edjouma. That leaves them firmly in the middle-of-the-table once again.

Olympique Lyonnais are reeling from the departure of Paulo Fonseca to Sporting CP with no permanent replacement yet in place. Without him in the dugout on Thursday, Lyon earned themselves a creditable 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad in the Basque Country in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League.

Lyon haven’t shown signs of being shaken just yet but Fonseca’s ill-timed departure will surely begin to have an impact and so siding with Brest may well be good value.

Brest vs Lyon tip: Double chance – Brest to win or draw
