Elche vs Real Betis prediction
Coached by former FC Porto boss Martin Anselmi, who replaced Eder Sarabia over the summer, Elche begin the weekend sitting just outside of the bottom three and the relegation places on goal difference with just two wins in 11 matches. They were beaten 1-0 in a regional derby by Valencia last weekend.
Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis had their winning start to the league phase of the UEFA Champions League ended by Borussia Dortmund in Germany the other day. Los Verdiblancos have been impressive both on the continent and in La Liga so far this season, albeit performances have slightly dipped.
Given that slight dip and the fact that Elche have been much-improved since the international break, siding with the visitors may well be a good value bet for this one.
