Cardiff City vs Burnley prediction

Since taking charge as head coach, Fabio Celestini has guided Burnley to consecutive draws against Portsmouth and QPR, respectively. They're still looking for that all-important second win of the season, and it's imperative they find it soon, with four points still between them and safety.

Cardiff City will do everything they can to stop that and instead hammer another nail in Burnley's coffin. But defensively, having given up three goals in consecutive Championship games, there's reason for Burnley to be optimistic that they can break through what is looking a shaky Bluebirds backline.

Celestini has succeeded in making Burnley harder to beat, and when you factor in Cardiff's recent woes at the back, this is the sort of winnable away game that you rarely see in the Championship for a side in the bottom three. Therefore, the shrewd play here would be to utilise the double chance market and back Burnley to gain either a draw or victory.
