Panathinaikos, who reached the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League last season, earned a hard-fought 4-3 aggregate victory against Hungarian side Paksi in the second qualifying round of this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League.
CSKA 1948 made their debut in UEFA competition with a defeat to FCSB in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League in the 2023-24 campaign but they made it past that round after extra-time against Spartak Trnava last week.
