Thun vs Vikingur Reykjavik prediction

Having beaten the likes of Basel and Young Boys to a first Swiss Super League title ever. They have lost their manager over the summer and were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League after extra-time by Dinamo Zagreb, despite going two goals up on the night. They were beaten 6-0 by the aforementioned Young Boys at the weekend.

Vikingur Reykjavik have performed well in UEFA competition in recent seasons, more often than not reliant on their home advantage in Iceland. Vikingur made it past Hungarian champions ETO Gyori in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League before being beaten by Hapoel Be’er Sheva after winning the first-leg at home.

Vikingur will fancy themselves over two legs here but Thun do have to remain favourites, with their home advantage at Stockhorn Arena on Thursday night.

Thun vs Vikingur Reykjavik tip: Thun to win & both teams to score
