Universidad Catolica earned the fourth seed following a strong group stage campaign which saw them beat out the likes of Cruzeiro and Boca Juniors to finish top of the table. The knockout stage sees them meet Estudiantes to start and with the first-leg in Argentina, the Chileans will need to be at their best defensively as the hosts really try to attack their opponents hard in an attempt to capitalise on that home advantage.
However, Universidad Catolica finished the group stage strong defensively, keeping three consecutive clean sheets and should prove very tough to break down over the course of 90 minutes. Estudiantes also need to be wary of the counter-attack in particular and this could lead to chances being few and far between. Therefore, backing a low-scoring game appears worthwhile.
