FC Cincinnati’s Leagues Cup fate is in their own hands after two rounds of games following consecutive victories. They are one of two teams yet to concede of the MLS clubs at the time of writing and have scored five goals, so Atlas will have their work cut out if they are to get anything out of this one.
The Liga MX side are now eliminated following two defeats in a row, shipping five goals and scoring just once. It’s hard to see their backline when considering it’s fragility, being able to keep out Cincinnati when the hosts push bodies forward and any outcome other than an eventual win for Cincinnati would be a surprise.
