Toluca, who won the CONCACAF Champions Cup back in May after winning last season’s Liga MX Apertura, have started this season’s Liga MX Apertura with two victories and a defeat in their three matches so far.
The Seattle Sounders come into this one on the back of three successive defeats, against Austin, the Philadelphia Union and then Portland Timbers, since FIFA World Cup 2026 as they cling onto a spot in the top nine and the extended play-off places in the Western Conference in Major League Soccer.
Seattle are in very poor form and now face a very tough test against one of North America’s best and so siding with Toluca is the way to go for this one at Estadio Nemesio Diaz.
