Ipswich vs Bournemouth Prediction

After stringing together a small but valuable three-match unbeaten run, Ipswich have lost their last two matches. Both losses in the last week were by a single goal to Nottingham Forest and then Crystal Palace. As painful as they were for Kieran McKenna, he can take some heart from the fact that his team is competing in every game right now and it really is a case of fine margins. They do need other players other than Liam Delap to step up and help with the goalscoring duties however. Against Bournemouth at home, this is one match they simply have to target this one to take at least a point.

Andoni Iraola’s men are coming off a deserved 1-0 win at home against Tottenham in midweek. It was a disappointing performance by Spurs but it should take nothing away from Bournemouth’s display and win in what was their first clean sheet in six matches. They are scoring goals and playing pretty well right and they come into the 15th round of matches sat in the top half of the table.

The one thing alongside home advantage which is in Ipswich’s favour here is the fact that they have had two extra days of rest coming into this one. They played Palace on Tuesday while Bournemouth played on Thursday night. That could well have an impact here. Ipswich are scrapping for their lives right now and they can make those factors count. Consider them draw no bet in this one
