Molde vs Legia Warsaw Prediction

Molde endured a miserable 2024 Eliteserien campaign as they finished fifth and outside of the European spots domestically as the Norwegians now take on an entertaining Legia Warsaw side pushing for a rare modern day run into European competition this season.

Molde managed to edge past League of Ireland outfit Shamrock Rovers in the knockout playoffs of the UEFA Europa Conference League last month. Continuing their poor year, they lost the first-leg by a goal to nil before then managing a 1-0 win in Dublin and dramatically winning on penalties in the second-leg.

Legia Warsaw, despite the departure of Kosta Runjaic to Udinese last summer, managed to finish in the top eight of the UEFA Europa Conference League. They are fourth in the Polish Ekstraklasa but did manage a victory against Slask Wroclaw at the weekend, a few days after defeating Jagiellonia Bialystok in the quarter-finals of the cup last week.

Legia have been entertaining this season and will be favourites for this one against a Molde side that will view themselves as very fortunate to have reached the Round of 16 stage.

Molde vs Legia Warsaw Tip: Double chance – Legia Warsaw to win or draw
