How to watch online: UK – Cannot be streamed / US – Disney+

Key stats

  • Kosovo have won just one of their previous 19 World Cup qualifying matches (D3 L15). That was a 1-0 victory away from home against Georgia in September 2021.
  • Sweden won 3-0 in both matches when these teams met in the last World Cup qualifying campaign.
  • Sweden are without a win in their last five World Cup qualifying matches outside of Sweden (D1 L4).

Kosovo vs Sweden prediction

Kosovo come into this one on the back of another typically open and attacking performance as they suffered a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Switzerland in Basel, with all four goals coming in the first-half. The Kosovans five matches in 2025 have consisted of a total of 24 goals.

They now face a Sweden side that have a squad consisting of the likes of Alexander Isak, who isn’t fully fit, as well as Anthony Elanga and Viktor Gyokeres. The Swedes have been improving for a while and they looked to have earned a crucial win the other day before being denied victory over Slovenia due to a late equaliser.

Kosovo will get on the front foot in this one and it should be a fun watch for the neutral, but Sweden are the firm favourites for what should be a high-scoring affair.
