Dinamo Zagreb reclaimed the Croatian title last season and they have a good chance of reaching the league phase of the UEFA Champions League. Dinamo needed extra-time to eventually see FC Thun off last week, having been 2-0 down in the second-leg against the Swiss champions in Zagreb before they rallied.
For the first time ever, Kauno Zalgiris have confirmed qualification to the league phase of a UEFA competition for the first time ever with victories against Kosovan champions Drita Gjilan and then Faroese champions Klaksvikar Itrottarfelag in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Kauno have been fortunate with their draws thus far and now is a much tougher test with Dinamo the firm favourites for this tie, especially in this first-leg with home advantage.
