Olympiacos vs NEC prediction

Olympiacos have often been the dominant force in the Greek Super League but the 2023-24 UEFA Europa Conference League winners instead succumbed to second place last season, finishing below AEK Athens and being forced into the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

NEC Nijmegen were the major surprise package in the Dutch Eredivisie last season, finishing third - which was their highest ever league finish. They have lost some key players over the summer. Former Castellon boss Dirk Schreuder has remained in charge at Gofferstadion, though.

NEC may be much better when they get Olympiacos back to the Netherlands but Olympiacos, with their nous and pedigree as well as home advantage, should be sided with for this first-leg in Piraeus.

Olympiacos vs NEC tip: Olympiacos to win & both teams to score
