The Columbus Crew come into this one on the back of snatching a 2-2 draw with reigning MLS Cup winners Inter Miami in Florida at the weekend, earning that point with a goal scored by new star signing Brais Mendez, who has joined from Real Sociedad.
Club Atlas have started the 2026-27 Liga MX Apertura campaign with two victories and a defeat in their three matches. Atlas did lose that one game at the weekend as they were beaten 2-0 by Monterrey in a game in which they were reduced to nine men.
Atlas are a good team with some recognisable faces and Columbus will not fancy the distraction of this competition right now so siding with the visitors may well be a good value bet for this one.
