France vs Germany prediction

Under the management of Laurent Bonadei, France came into the tournament with a bit of a resurgence in the last 12 months, and they began their group stage campaign with an impressive 2-1 defeat of defending champions England, before comfortable victories against Wales and then the Netherlands.

They now face a Germany side that are record eight-time champions, but they have since drifted in the last few years’, as shown by a group stage exit at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The Germans have improved again, but their 4-1 defeat to Sweden the other day was perhaps a sign that there is a way yet to go.

France will believe they can take the game to Germany and set about them with a bit of urgency and confidence, and Les Bleues would have to be viewed as favourites.

France vs Germany tip: France to win
