In the first-leg of this UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie in Istanbul last week, Fenerbahce defeated Sturm Graz by two goals to nil with first half goals scored by the experienced Anderson Talisca and big money summer signing Mason Greenwood.
Sturm Graz have a much better recent European record than Fenerbahce and they showed how strong they were with a 6-0 aggregate defeat of Heart of Midlothian in the previous round. Fenerbahce, despite their reputation, have not played in the league or group stage of the UEFA Champions League in over 15 years.
Home advantage should ensure Sturm can make a real game of it with the tie not out of reach and both teams scoring would appear a decent bet for this one in Central Europe.
