Germany vs Poland prediction
These two sides faced off against each other in their UEFA Women’s European Championship qualifying group, with Germany winning that group and automatically qualifying for the tournament, finishing just above Iceland. They have steadied themselves to number three in the world after a disappointing few years.
Poland were very underwhelming in that group, sitting rock-bottom with six defeats from six in those qualifiers through the autumn. They have qualified via the playoffs for this tournament with victories against Romania, rather unconvincingly, and then with another shaky victory against Austria.
Poland will be viewed as quite fortunate to have made it to Switzerland this summer, and a comfortable German victory is to be expected for this Group C opener.
