At his second major tournament with England, having been at UEFA EURO 2024 as England finished as runners up, starting their quarter-final defeat of Switzerland, Ezri Konsa has continued to grow and establish himself as one of the best defenders in the Premier League. Heading into this summer as a UEFA Europa League winner and perhaps off the back of his best individual season at Aston Villa, the versatile defender may well be a key cog in Thomas Tuchel’s back four, capable of playing at right-back if called upon but most prominently competing with John Stones to start alongside Marc Guehi at centre-back.
