Another of Arsenal’s Premier League-title winning squad is Eberechi Eze. The former Crystal Palace man, who won the FA Cup and the Community Shield before moving to North London last summer, has experienced a similar season to that of Madueke. The attacking midfielder, who turns 28 mid-way through the tournament, put in some memorable displays, such as a hat-trick in his first North London Derby against Tottenham Hotspur, and did become someone that was trusted more and more by Mikel Arteta but there were periods of frustrating, overly cautious form from the former Queens Park Rangers man – and his season ending with a crucial missed penalty in the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain will have left a bitter taste. That being said, he remains someone with a high level of technical quality that is capable of playing in both the so-called ‘number ten’ position as well as out-wide on the left and that versatility is always desired.
