Acting as an unofficial 27th man in their UEFA EURO 2024-winning squad, joining in with the celebrations after their triumph in Germany, it is no surprise that Luis de la Fuente has continued to show loyalty to the still very young Gavi for this summer. Now at the age of 21, Gavi, who made his Spain debut back in 2021, returned to full fitness mid-way through this campaign and he will again be expected to contribute to the Spanish as a key bit of midfield depth and someone who could even be a point of difference this summer.
