Wolves vs Aston Villa Prediction
Vitor Pereira’s stint at Wolverhampton Wanderers started very well but they do now come into this one on the back of four successive defeats. They most recently suffered a 1-0 loss at home to Arsenal in a game in which the Gunners were down to ten men for over an hour but then Joao Gomes’ sent off prompted Arsenal to eventually nick all three points at Molineux. Aston Villa went 2-0 up, got pegged back but then managed to overcome Celtic by four goals to two at Villa Park to finish in the top eight of the UEFA Champions League league phase in midweek. Unai Emery’s side have been inconsistent but still have a chance to have a very memorable campaign, if it isn’t already. Wolves will fancy their chances of taking advantage of Villa’s small-ish squad having played so often already this year but the visitors still have an abundance of talent, despite the departures of Emi Buendia and Jhon Duran, to mean they are always likely to score.
