Uganda vs Guinea Prediction

Uganda head into the sixth match day of CAF’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with two victories and three defeats, sitting a point behind Guinea but six behind the dominant sides in Group G, Algeria and Mozambique.

Uganda come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat to the aforementioned Mozambique at the Cairo International Stadium in the Egyptian capital last week. It was a fast start to that game with Pepo giving Mozambique a lead after three minutes before a Muhammad Shaban equalised a few minutes later but Pepo restored the lead in the 16th minute.

Guinea, on the other hand, have been steady but have allowed a gap between themselves and the aforementioned Algeria and Mozambique to open up at the top of the group. That wasn’t helped by being held to a goalless draw by bottom-of-the-table Somalia the other day against a Somalian side that had been pointless before that meeting.

Both sides generally lack goals and their limited attacking play is what is set to see them both miss out on even making qualification relatively competitive in this group.

Uganda vs Guinea Tip: Under 3.5 goals
