Mickey Mellon’s Oldham Athletic are an stubborn team though, well drilled and set-up defensively, so breaking them down will be a challenge for the Potters, who need to also guard against a counter attack.
Whilst it may take time for the new faces to really come into their own, Stoke look a stronger squad heading into this campaign compared to last season.
