However, this cup game gives them the chance to brush off the cobwebs and field their best team in a competitive fixture. They’ll likely dominate against Northampton Town, who were relegated to League Two last season.
Whilst patience will be important for the Foxes, it’s hard not to see them breaking through sooner rather than later. Assuming they take the lead, more are likely to follow and a home victory by multiple goals should be backed in this one.
