Cercle Brugge vs Jagiellonia Bialystok Prediction

The first-leg of this tie saw Jagiellonia Bialystok hammer Cercle Brugge by three goals to nil in Poland last weekend with Jagiellonia taking advantage of Cercle going down to ten men in the 59th minute before a brace from Afimico Pululu as well as a Tomas Romanczuk strike.

Cercle Brugge then suffered a 3-1 defeat to arch-rivals Club Brugge in a controversial derby at the Janbreydelstadion at the weekend in a game in which they were 3-0 down at half-time. Those losses now mean they are winless in their last eight matches across all competitions as they sit in the bottom four in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

Jagiellonia Bialystok, under the management of 33-year-old former reserve team coach Adrian Siemieniec, will believe they can strike Cercle on the counter-attack now in Belgium, defending a 3-0 lead, with the likes of Jesus Imaz, Darko Churlinov and the aforementioned Afimico Pululu, who is joint top scorer in this season’s competition, in transition.

Cercle have been awful throughout this campaign and Jagiellonia will believe that their desperation to overturn such a deficit will only play into their hands in the second-leg.

Cercle Brugge vs Jagiellonia Bialystok Tip: Double chance – Jagiellonia to win or draw
