Benoit Saint Denis vs Kyle Prepolec prediction

Benoit Saint Denis (13-3 with one no contest) is in desperate need of a win if he is to stay relevant in the upper echelons of the lightweight division. The French star has lost back-to-back fights after being stopped by both Dustin Poirier and Renato Moicano.

Saint Denis has always been entertaining to watch picking up a whole raft of Fight and Performance of the Night bonuses, but he has struggled when coming up against the top fighters in the division.

He will be desperate to get a win here to stay within range of the top ten in the division and he will have to adjust as he now faces a new opponent after Joel Alvarez was forced of the card through injury.

Kyle Prepolec (18-8) is the man to step up as the Canadian jumped at the chance to fight on this massive card on home soil with just a week’s notice. Prepolec returns to the UFC after a short spell back in 2019 where he lost both of his fights against Nordine Taleb and Austin Hubbard.

Prepolec simply is not at this level but he has ultimately saved the fight for Saint Denis. It is ultimately a free hit and pay day for him but it is so unlikely that he will even trouble Saint Denis, that the Frenchman simple has to be favoured to likely get the stoppage.

Prediction: Benoit Saint Denis to win by KO/TKO or Submission
