Liz Carmouche: Former UFC vet looking for another belt

Liz Carmouche (26-8) comes into this fight full of confidence, having won her last four bouts, and will now look to claim the PFL Women's Flyweight Championship.

She had to shave her hair off to make weight on Thursday, but she managed to do so and will be full of confidence ahead of this title fight against Jena Bishop.

The two fighters have met once before, some 14 months ago, when Carmouche knocked Bishop out in the third round, and she will be confident of doing the same again here.

Jena Bishop: Jiu-jitsu specialist looking to avenge previous loss

Jena Bishop (11-3) will be hoping to avenge her previous loss to Liz Carmouche, and she has bounced back from that knockout defeat by winning her last two fights.

She beat Borena Tsertsvadze and Ariane Lipski da Silva in April and June respectively, with both wins coming by submission in the first round.

That will give her confidence as she looks to avenge the loss from last August.

Liz Carmouche vs Jena Bishop prediction

With a belt on the line in Chicago, we have a fascinating main event as Liz Carmouche rematches Jena Bishop. Carmouche knocked her out the last time they met and is currently riding a four-fight winning streak.

She has continued fighting at a high level ever since leaving the UFC in 2019, having been a standout at Bellator and now the PFL. Even at the age of 42, she continues to impress, and there is every chance that she becomes the inaugural women's flyweight champion.

Bishop is as game as they come, but it is hard to see how she gets the victory here. Her submission skills are impressive, but Carmouche should be able to handle them, and Carmouche's knockout power makes her additionally dangerous.

Even if she doesn't manage to get the knockout this time around, we fully expect Carmouche to get the win, and we expect it to come via the judges' scorecards.

Prediction: Liz Carmouche to win by decision
