Alexa Grasso vs Natalia Silva prediction

Alexa Grasso (16-4-1) returns to action after losing the women’s flyweight championship belt at UFC 306 to Valentina Shevchenko last time out. She her last three fights have all come against Shevchenko where she won the first, then drew, then lost, so she will likely relish the opportunity to fight against a different opponent here.

The Mexican star will have to overcome the psychological blow of losing the title as she now takes on Natalia Silva (18-5-1) who is the rising star of the division.

The 28-year-old Brazilian has incredible momentum on her side as she has won her last 12 fights and not tasted defeat since December 2017 when she lost to Marina Rodriguez.

She has been in the UFC since June 2022 and has met every challenge she has faced. Every fight has seen her face tougher opposition and she has managed to get the win on all six occasions.

Now she is handed a golden opportunity against a former champion and she will know that victory here could well catapult her into title contention.

In many respects, it is a shame that this fight is not a five-rounder as it really is a quality bout that will really push the winner into a great spot. We see this fight going the distance as both fighters are durable and it would be no surprise if this is a split decision.

We have to marginally lean towards Silva. She is a fighter on the rise and we think she will be the fresher of the two fighters and that will see her just edge a decision.

Prediction: Natalia Silva to win by decision
