AC Milan have endured a miserable campaign but did earn themselves a much-needed victory last weekend as the Rossoneri now take on an entertaining Como side at San Siro this week.

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Select matches will be televised on CBS Sports so it is worth checking their schedule

How to watch online: UK – OneFootball / US – Paramount+

AC Milan Preview: Struggling Rossoneri

Sergio Conceicao replaced Paulo Fonseca in early January and his first two matches saw AC Milan come from behind in both the semi-final and the final of the Supercoppa Italiana but, after that brilliant start, things have gone very badly.

The Rossoneri suffered defeat to Feyenoord in the knockout playoffs of the UEFA Champions League and they have slipped away from the top seven and the European spots in Serie A, albeit they did enjoy a thrilling 3-2 victory over struggling Lecce down in Apulia last weekend.

Como Preview: Cesc’s Como

Cesc Fabregas took charge of Como on a permanent and official basis last summer and, with Como an ambitious project, he has been backed by some fairly big money spending as they try and avoid even being involved in a relegation battle following promotion last season.

Como most recently shared a frustrating 1-1 draw with struggling Venezia last weekend in a game in which they took a 49th minute lead via Jonathan Ikone at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia before Christian Gytkjaer brought Venezia level deep into second-half stoppage-time.

AC Milan Team News: Bizarre squad

Conceicao is dealing with what is a very bizarre squad that have far too many options in key positions such as in attack but not in other areas. England international right-back Kyle Walker has returned to full fitness with Emerson Royal remaining unavailable.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Sportiello; Walker, Gabbia, Thiaw, Hernandez; Bondo, Musah; Alex Jimenez, Reijnders, Pulisic; Santiago Gimenez

Unavailable: Emerson Royal (Injured), Loftus-Cheek (Injured)

Como Team News: A few have returned

Como have been very busy in the transfer window throughout the last eight months or so but the vast majority of their key men have returned to the first-team, albeit they remain without former Barcelona man Sergi Roberto due to a calf injury.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Butez; Smolcic, Goldaniga, Felipe Jack, Alex Valle; Caqueret, Maximo Perrone, Da Cunha; Gabriel Strefezza, Nico Paz, Diao

Unavailable: Sergi Roberto (Injured), Azon (Injured)

Questionable:

AC Milan vs Como Prediction

That victory against Lecce came after AC Milan had gone 2-0 down in Apulia. The pressure was on Conceicao before that victory and the unconvincing nature of their performance is unlikely to allay fears for the long-term as they prepare to go into the March international break. Como have enjoyed some impressive performances against leading sides in Italy, such as their defeat of title challenging Napoli a few weeks ago. Como will go to San Siro fancying their chances of hurting an opposition that have made a habit of dramatic late comebacks.

AC Milan vs Como Tip: Both teams to score
