Santiago Ponzinibbio vs Daniel Rodriguez prediction

Santiago Ponzinibbio (30-8) got back to winning ways last time out as he picked up a TKO victory over Carlston Harris just under four months ago in January. The Argentine veteran had lost his two previous fights that showed that he still possesses excellent knockout power and can compete just under the elite group of fighters in the welterweight division.

On Saturday night, he comes up against the talented Daniel Rodriguez (18-5) who is also coming off a victory last time out. Rodriguez picked up a split-decision win over Alex Morono which was a welcome victory after he had lost his three previous fights.

He too has had plenty of success against fighters outside of the top 15 in the UFC rankings but has been found wanting when coming up against the elite in the welterweight division.

There is not much to separate these two fighters just it is clear that Ponzinibbio has the edge in knockout power. We feel that that could be the decisive factor in this fight especially for Rodriguez gets drawn into a war. This one could easily go either way but we had to the Argentine to get the win.

Prediction: Santiago Ponzinibbio to win
