Ryan Loder vs Azamat Bekoev prediction

Ryan Loder (7-1) made a statement on his UFC debut last time as he TKO’d Robert Valentin last August to get his career in the Octagon off to a winning start. Not only does the 33-year-old possess a strong wrestling base, but he has impressive knockout power as he demonstrated on debut and five of his seven wins have come via KO/TKO.

He now faces what is comfortably the toughest test of his relatively short MMA career as he has been matched against the formidable Azamat Bekoev (19-3).

The Russian also made his own statement on his UFC debut in January this year as he knocked out the talented Zachary Reese at UFC 311. That was his seventh successive victory and Bekoev has not tasted defeat since 2021.

This is a fascinating stylistic matchup but one where we strongly favour Bekoev. The Russian is incredibly well-rounded and our sense is that he outclasses Loder in all facets.

Prediction: Azamat Bekoev to win
